1. No general anesthesia is used so you are not put out.
   
   
2. Large quantities of dilute local anesthesia is put in the area to be liposuctioned to anesthetise the area.
   
   
3. You do not feel the anesthesia being put in the area as well as the fat being suctioned out. You are totally awake but don't feel any discomfort what-so-ever. You can be talking to your friend/husband/mother/kids on the telephone as your fat is being suctioned out" or watch a DVD, listen to music or just talk with the Doctor Buck and Cinthia (your surgery technition).  They are very entertaining!
   
   
4. Because you have this dilute anesthesia in the area to be suctioned, it causes the blood vessels in the area to constrict so the result is little to not bruising at all.
   
   
5. Swelling is very minimal. You can be in your smaller clothes by weeks end!
   
   
6. There is NO DOWNTIME.  After your surgery you get up off the table, a garment is put on that you will wear only for a couple days. You are pain free and can walk around and do normal things immediately. Return to 50% of your exercise routine the next day!
   
   
7. The fat is taken out!  This is surgery with very fine cannulas (not the traditional huge cannulas used for regular liposuction under anesthesia). Your skin will contour nicely without huge ridges that bigger cannulas can cause!  There are no scars from the cannulas either!
